2 coats of each
both the glitters are extremely thick and jelly like...it's SUPER sheer with one coat, so two or three generous coats would do
i love the formulation of the other two non-glitter polishes! it paints smoothly and the colors have a reflect to them! esp the grey one! it has a pinky reflect! so cool!
i think they made the two glittered one to be paired with the black shatter and not so much alone
ONE COAT OF BLACK SHATTER ON ALL FINGERS
it's a matte polish that applies black and shrinks as it dries, it's a pretty cool concept
if you do a THICK layer, you'll get LARGE shatters and if you do a THIN layer, you'll get SMALL shatters.
notice the ring finger: there's a big LUMP that didn't shatter! it's cause that finger wasn't COMPLETELY dry, so it didn't wanna freakin shatter!
THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BOTTLE SAYS "WAIT TIL POLISH IS COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE APPLYING BLACK SHATTER"
then i applied seche vite ontop and the colors underneath shined through!!! gorgeous!!!
